[转载]有感于“饭局是锁链”

    拉克在工作中,也碰到过一些“饭局”。从个人的角度,拉克一点也不喜欢这种应酬。从入职教育的第一天开始,所长就跟我们说:“如果拿了人家的钱(或东西),人家就把你当成走狗。”所以,在不愁吃饭的今天,拉克并不觉得为了达到某种目的而开设饭局是很重的礼节,反而有打发叫花子的嫌疑;另一方面,别人一请,就去吃,简直像个饿鬼,自掉身价。
 
      听说温总理有一次视察,地方上准备了满满一桌。总理问:“有没有牛肉面?那一桌大家吃吧,我吃牛肉面。”众人无语,乖乖地全部改吃牛肉面(资料来源:余世维《卓越管理者的辅导与激励技巧》)。
 
      另外,拉克非常崇拜的陈云同志,也是自得其乐,每天有规律地享用自己的清淡饮食。有一次,金老太阳访华,小平同志宴请之。席间,陈老未动一筷,回家享用夫人为他订制的“平衡膳食”(米饭75克,豆腐约100克,蔬菜约150克)。
 
      拉克一介草民,绝不敢拿这两位庙堂高官“自比”。只是这两位领袖的做法,非常打动拉克,令拉克向往且愿意仿效。恰好在网上看到官方为饭局作的评论,转载下来,也作为壮胆的依据。

有感于“饭局是锁链”
      在我国自古就有这样一句名言:“民以食为天。”这说明人只要为了生存,谁也离不开吃饭的问题。然而,吃谁的饭?又如何吃饭?这还是大有讲究的。例如,我国许多有志之士就总结出了这样一句格言:“吃了别人的嘴短,拿了别人的手软。”

  吃了别人的为何嘴短?最近,原湖北省黄石市委书记、人大主任陈家杰在

剖析自己犯罪的原因时这样讲到:“看似普普通通的一个个饭局,最终成了难以挣脱的锁链。”此话不可谓是不经典。因为这位在黄石工作了近40年的领导人,自认为人缘熟,自己既有功劳,又有苦劳,年龄大了,吃喝玩乐享受一下本也无所谓的。没想到自己的这些心理被那些天天围着自己转的“苍蝇”们给叮上了,锁链上了,最终害了自己。

  一个高级别的领导干部,在生活好了之后,还能因为吃饭的问题导致犯罪,的确这给很多人敲响了警钟。看来这饭局,不管是在生活困难的时期,还是在生活富裕了之后,都是不能随便吃的。不管在什么时候,别人都不会无缘无故的花钱请你吃饭的。从这个意义上讲,毛泽东同志曾提出的“革命不是请客吃饭”的论断还是十分正确的。

  饭局为何成了让领导干部难以挣脱的锁链?这就告诉大家,饭局里面往往隐藏着有不正常的和错误的东西。想想看:为什么一些领导干部天天有饭局,老百姓为什么没有?难道这真的是工作上的需要吗?不是。人家请你吃饭,一定有求于你,而且是不合乎规定难以正常办到的事才找上你的。否则,明明符合规定的,找谁都可以办到的事情,他何必非要多花钱请你吃过了饭再办呢?没那个必要。

  再者,我们不是说领导干部一概不能吃请,如为了某项重要工作,与兄弟单位的往来,或完成了某些重要任务之后,为了酬劳和慰问下属吃顿饭,都是人之常理,并不为过。有时与部下适当吃顿饭,既能建立上下之间的感情,又能促进工作。对此,上级不会反对,百姓也能理解。问题是,像黄石的那位市委书记那样,有人天天围着自己转、饭局接二连三地不断,那就不正常了,人民群众也就不能理解了。因为众人皆知,与周围的人设饭局多了就一定有问题。这种饭局吃多了,必然是吃出了另一种“感情”,吃出了不正常的人缘关系,从而吃掉了原则,吃掉了政策,吃掉了乌纱,还能不犯错误?

  因此,对于领导干部来讲,常去参加别人的饭局绝不是个小问题。那么,我们的老一辈革命家像毛泽东、周恩来、邓小平等,以及新一代领导人胡锦涛、朱镕基、温家宝等,对于吃饭问题历来要求都是十分严格的,而且为我们大家树立了榜样。

  这说明,让饭局成为领导干部犯罪挣不脱的锁链,实不应该。我们应当从中认真吸取教训才是。

拉克同学已经工作了

 

       背过GRE的同学们可能还记得,英语中有一个词根是“-phobia”,就是某某恐惧症。比如acrophobia是怕高,hydrophobia是怕水,hemophobia是怕血,还有claustrophobia 则是害怕进入电梯那样的封闭空间,又唤作“幽闭恐惧症”。

       说来惭愧,拉克同学一直有一种“就业恐惧症” (权且写成unemployment phobia吧),怕毕业之后找不到工作养不活自己。为此,不少同学老师觉得不可思议,尤其是那位现在在北美镀金的“老虚”同学总以之作为笑柄。现在回想起来,造成这种心理负担的原因可溯源到大三暑假找实习时的折腾。因为拉克以前没有很顺利的工作经历,不知道“工作”长啥样,由此对就业产生一种恐惧。这个和大多数学游泳的人第一次下水十分类似,心理总归没底;特别是初次水就被呛得上气不接下气;这种情况下,真的很容易产生“十年怕井绳”的心理。

       在这座心理大山的压迫下,加之国内就业大环境逐年吃紧,教育部却大笔一挥——“硕博扩招”,终于使拉克决定提前进入工作格。为此,拉克非常感谢黄导的网开一面,全力支持。否则拉克不知道还在哪里混迹呢。

       拉克一直觉得,上主的手在不停地引领,领着自己到“可安歇的水边”而“必不至于缺乏”。终于,拉克找到了一个自己非常喜欢的职位。现在拉克供职于“国家太阳能光伏产品质量监督检验中心”。该中心位于太湖之滨,山水无锡。拉克从“浙B”,平调到了“苏B”。

       转眼已快三个月了。领导、同事们的支持是拉克同学进步的源泉。拉克知道,眼前一切来之不易,唯有用心做事,才能不负青春年华。“你必汗流满面才得糊口。”上主的话是真理,真理使人得自由。这份自由,化解了拉克同学的就业恐惧。“无挂碍故,无有恐怖,远离颠倒梦想,究竟涅槃。尽管离那个境界还远着,但这种洒脱,却是实实在在的。

       愿和诸君分享这种自由。

今天突然想到福音书里这两句经文。让我心里非常愧疚。

《士兵突击》和《长江7号》

 
    去年在馒头僧的部落格里看到他极力推荐《士兵突击》。过了年早早跑到办公室里,没有影碟,就在"优酷"这个不是很清晰的网站上,花两个通宵把它看完的。
 
    关于这部电视,好评如潮。给我的感觉,最核心的,是两个字:改变。
 
    里面的每一个人,都在不停地变,在适应着环境。许三多的变,固然是翻天覆地,而其它人,也都在完善自己。比如成才,561;就连像“
妖怪”一样的袁朗,也从不喜欢成才变到愿意接受成才。这部电视讲的故事,可以说是一群士兵在他人影响下,主观认识发生了变化,从而改变了自己。当然,这个变化不是一朝一夕就成,而是以时间和毅力为必要条件的。
 
    诚如馒头僧所言,意志坚定与否,能让不同人的成就有天壤之别。从这个角度来说,这部电视确实是激励男人斗志的好片!
 
 
    《长江7号》是在同学推荐下看的。本来对周星弛的戏不是很喜欢,但这次用心去看了,和这部电影产生了共鸣。这部戏的情节并不曲折,吸引我的是里面演员表演很到位,电脑特技做得精致,一些细节处理得非常有幽默感。
 
    小演员里,我印象最深的是女扮男装的坏男孩。一开始在课堂上,曹主任问大家未来理想是什么,他说要“做大,做强”,一副精明强悍的模样;接下去在食堂里,他呼悠着说那个机器狗居然是总统级别的,还把周围同学说得一愣一愣的;又少年老成地,感慨起“教育问题”来。最逗的是,影片最后,他横空出世,从小狄那里抢走美女同学,那副黑道大佬的气势,一点也不输给周润发。
   
    曹老师的表演还比较容易体会到,而体育老师的冷幽默则是要细细品味才能体会到其功力之深。
 
    还有一个细节,简直是搞笑至极。父子俩在街边看电视,突然跳出个发现飞碟的新闻。那位号称发现飞碟的农民,出场装扮是戴一顶和飞碟一模一样的大盖帽,他的“飞碟照”与大盖帽同时出现在影片的镜头中,并且导演给他的帽子来了个特写——连上面的几个小洞位置也和照片中的飞碟是一样的——这不就是“此地无银三百两”嘛!再仔细观察他比划发现过程的那些动作,真是相当传神;而回答照相机型号的问题,这个老农居然打出“外交辞令”:不方便说。——笑煞我了。这一节戏,和前段时间闹得沸沸扬扬的“周正龙拍虎”有异曲同工之妙——一样都明目张胆地作假,而且作假也作得水平太低了。也不知道周老虎和老农民这俩老乡事先有没有切磋过技艺了。
 
    喜欢这部影片还有另外一个原因:它是在宁波拍的。里面的镜头,出现了大量的宁波元素——浙B车号,万里学校,多次出现的“庆安会馆,430米”,还有东钱湖。特别是东钱湖,我从小在这个湖边长大;在这部风靡全国的影片中,很多人还以为是西湖。但这就是“太湖气魄,西子风光”的东钱湖。也欢迎大家看了此文,能来这里呼吸一下新鲜空气,找一下和清澈湖水亲近的感觉!

在国立研究所里重新思考“三个代表”

    我对江主席所提出的这个观点非常赞同。和这位年长的校友一样,我也是工科专业出身。目前随着研究工作的

一点点展开,开始认识到要使我所作的研究成为有价值的工作,那么还真的离不开“三个代表”。

    首先是先进生产力,这一点不需要赘述了。现在处在“国家队”的位置,当然要从事前沿领域的研究。至少要

在现有的基础上有所创新。在这个岗位如果局限于小打小闹,小富即安,是没有出路的。国外的装备工业,其精度

已经达到让人惊异的水平。美国、日本等国的研究条件,早已不是“瓶瓶罐罐”了。国内的工业界也已广泛采用自

动化的仪器。所以一定要有前沿的眼光,用较为领先的工艺水平,制造高质量的材料。当前,质量才是最主要的—

—而非“廉价”。高质量的产品才会有高的附加值,所以着眼点要放在千方百计提高质量上面。

    第二是先进文化。我不想讨论儒家文化与基督教文化孰优孰劣孰先进孰落后。目前的几个被认同的文化,比如

团队协作,有效沟通,诚信踏实,新老传承,有序操作,低混乱度——这些先进的管理文化,在科研岗位上——不

管是科研工作人员还是普通研究生,都有必要学习与应用。

    至于第三点,不妨这么想:我们拿了纳税人的钱,当然要做出对得起老百姓的事情来!电影《美丽心灵》里普

林斯顿大学的教授在入学典礼上就说“We need results, applicable publishable results.”我们工科做研究,

如果只是为了发几篇论文交差,那是要汗颜的;如果还在为“这个研究所拿多少工资,那个课题组发多少补助”来

攀比,也是无聊与可悲的。我们要自问,有没有作出利国利民的成果来?

    以上是我的想法。也许“浪漫主义”、“理想主义”成分很多。但我就是这么想的。

我们相信 神----我在科大的日子(7) 

  摘要

 

    这篇文章记录了我是认识基督的过程。在我小时候,一次次无意的接触,最后都成了撒播在心里的种子。我第一次进入教堂----上海国际礼拜堂是2006年2月19号,现已有一年多了。在这一年里,包括在宁波、杭州、合肥,这种信仰一直在坚固我,尽管我还没有受洗。

   

    我不是宗教狂热分子。但基督确实给了我内心的平静与刚强。我的信仰,有以下三个原则:

 

1、建立在传统文化基础之上。中国文化中,有很多思想,和基督教思想是一致的,比如“唯天为大”就是对神的敬畏,“仁者爱人”就是一种“爱人如已”。我深爱着我们的文化与国家。

 

2、尊重其它宗教,包括无神论者。有些人经常无端攻击信佛的人,说佛教是“魔鬼”,我厌恶这种指责。

 

3、为教会的合一祷告。基督宗教分裂成新教,天主教,东正教等教派,历史上还发生过很多宗教战争。但,我们都是信奉独一的神,都是基督的羔羊,为何要“本是同根生,相煎何太急”呢?我非常渴望看到各个教派之间的团结与理解。


这篇英文写的文章很长,又有语法错误;我想,这篇摘要已经把主要内容概括出来了。

On Feb.19th, 2006 I entered a church for the first time. It was Shanghai Community Church which locates near the cross of Urumchi Road and Hengshan Road, in a district filled with the sense of Old Shanghai. It was built by a group of Americans about 80 years ago and has been there as a witness of so many historical affairs ever since.

 

That visit was not simply a “sight-seeing” for me. It was a turning point of my religion. Most of the youth in China are, as I used to be, antitheists, due to the education we receive and the social tradition that has lasted. This country is ruled by the Communist Party, who proclaims to believe in Marxism only. Although its Chapter doesn’t prohibit religious belief, but there is an “unwritten law” that a Party member should not believe in God, Buddha or any other religions, and thus people with religions are not accepted to this organization. Like many other people, I’m still not clear where this “unwritten law” root. Nevertheless, that “law” prevails and the Youth League, which is subordinated to the Party and has extended its membership to almost every high school students, accepts it without any doubts. With this background knowledge, it is not hard to understand the prevailing of antitheism in China.

 

Before entering the gate of the Community Church, I had experienced many affairs related to Jesus Christ. The earliest memory was in my cousin’s home when I was younger than 10 years old. There one day came a teenaged girl talking with my cousin about the terrible scene of the Final Day which I guess was from the Revelation. She said that only those who believed in Jesus could be saved. Of course I didn’t know much about religion at that time. I was really frightened by the scenes she described.

 

When I was in junior school, the girl seated before me told me that there was a church near her home and she often heard euphonic hymns. Another classmate once told me there was a church in his village and the elders often welcomed the children to the church by providing them with sweets and saying “Come here children and you will be wiser.” He didn’t take it seriously at that time, but till now I can remember his description clearly.

 

Actually there WAS a church built in 1878 in my town, with a big red cross printed on the white wall. Below the cross was written “Christian Church”. I had walked past it for countless times ever since I was 6-year-old but never entered. Last year, however, when I was in my hometown and prepared to attend Sunday Worship there, I found it no longer a church but a kindergarten named “Kindergarten of Grace”. I asked a resident and was told that the church had moved to a new building nearby, with a much larger capacity. I rode there at once and attended the Worship in the beautiful church. Thank Goodness, the number of believers in our town has greatly increased and I am one of them.

 

Before the autumn of 2004, I just “knew” something about Christian. I was not a Christian at all. I had visited the many Buddhist temples, worshiped the idols, and received a booklet from a temple. And in breakfast I didn’t eat meat as my grandmother is always doing. But my mother was afraid that I might be affected by the negative aspects of Buddhism and become a monk one day (a Buddhist monk is required to keep single all his life). The most important thing was that I didn’t understand the teaching of Buddhism, and in all their ceremonies I just felt jollification, but nothing related to repent or moral affairs. I gave up that religion at last.

 

In 2004 I was sent to Hong Kong as an exchange student. I was met by two groups of fellows preaching the Good News. I had some patient with one, but declined the other directly. I didn’t think they were good preachers. And they even used so-called “science” to persuade me, which made me antipathy. Later some one told me that it was easy to get rid of such preachers, by saying that “I am already a Catholic.” Luckily, I hadn’t met preaching groups from then on, otherwise I would be lying before God.

 

One day I was having dinner with a friend and his roommate. We mentioned religion, and his roommate said, “If you are interested, I will be pleased to share you something about Christ.” Actually I didn’t like to be a Christian at that time, but I admire his words. Now I’ve met many preachers, young or aged, trying to persuade the passersby to believe in Jesus Christ. I respect their piety and courage, yet personally don’t agree with this action. Lord told us, “You are like salt for the whole human race. You are like light for the whole world.” As a Christian, before preaching, we need to improve ourselves to higher standard, to be examples on morality, diligency, and friendliness. And full understanding of this religion especially the Bible is a necessary. I’m still working on that. I hope when others comment me, they will say, “He is an honest man, and faithful. He is welcomed by the community, and has gained a happy and full life through diligent hands.”

 

In that year, I decided to have Christmas in Hong Kong, to experience a Western-style festival. At first I planed to go to a church to celebrate Christmas. When I told a friend, he replied me that a teacher of his university, i.e. University of Hong Kong, had a plan to organize students from Mainland to a Protestant Christmas Ceremony. So I asked whether I could join them. He said it would be OK. 

 

The ceremony was not held in a church, but in Hong Kong Exhibition Centre because there were so many people. The language was English and the priests and people singing and dancing were White people. They had some plays on the stage, but I didn’t understand what they were talking. The deepest impression was that the whole celebration was like a concert of pop-music. People played guitar, piano and many electronic instruments, which was far from my original image of a religious Christmas, which should have been held in a grant hall of a church with all the people being very serious. It was the first time that I attended the activity of Protestant Church. On the way back that night, we saw many people leaving Catholic churches. I thought their ceremony might be closer to my image. After that night I gradually knew some of the differences between Protestant and Catholic. As historic books told me, Protestant reformers simplified the ceremony and their churches were less luxury. Now I felt that, through experiencing.

 

After returning to Shanghai, I heard that in Hong Kong, churches would give a Bible to people who wanted to for free, I told a friend who was still in Hong Kong to bring me a English-versioned Bible. He promised and got a New International Version after he came back to Mainland. Now I am really grateful to him because it was my first time reading the Bible. Without piety but in a purpose of just improving English, however, after reading a few chapters in Genesis, I lost the patience to read the next parts. The book became a show-piece on my shelf.

 

It was not until in February 2006 that I read this book again, after some heavy blow. I was so sad that even doubt whether I could sustain over that night. I though of the Bible and read it. I read the words in Matthew, which had effected me ever since:

 

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

 

“Ask and it will be given to you,

Seek and you will find,

Knock and the door will be opened to you.”

    

I put the Bible near my pillow, by touching it, got the strength to neglect the worry of the day. That night I had the idea of going to a church. At once I remembered of Shanghai Community Church, which was mentioned by my piano teacher in the class just after the Christmas of 2005. I got up and searched the location in Internet and made the decision of going there in the coming Sunday. I typed a letter to a friend Pesce, who was also an exchange student and had accepted Christian, telling her that I felt being saved by Bible. With those things done, I went back to sleep.

  

I was encouraged by Pesce in her reply. And on Sunday, i.e. Feb. 19, 2007, I went to Shanghai Community Church. Bibles and Collections of Anthems were provided on every chair. It was the first time I entering a church, and it is a milestone in my religion. I followed others, and sang the anthems with gratitude.

 

I kept on going to the church on Sunday, and gradually know some customs and teaching. Because I was curious of the difference between Protestant Church and Catholic Church, one day after the Sunday worship, I went to Xujiahui Catholic Church. I was hungry and thought maybe I could eat the bread there. The church was very large, with beautiful paintings and statuaries. The Mass had not begun yet, and I joined others learning new anthems. Before every seat was a horizontal rod covered with leather. I though it was for placing the feet, so I put my feet on it. Later when the Mass began, from time and time, people knelt down on that rod. Suddenly I felt myself guilty to God. In one procedure during the Mass, people prayed peace to each other and handed each other. This scene made me feel very warm as a member in the community. Then before the Eucharist, a priest said, those who had baptized please stand in a line and receive the bread while those hadn’t baptized should not have the bread and please cross your hands in front of the chest and receive the benediction from the priest. Thanks to his words, or I would have committed more guilt. After the Mass, I asked the people how the church enrolled new believers. A man said, “I have noticed that you sang well. Would you be interested to join the Choir of Friday because we lack of a baritone.” After some consideration, I replied, “I will come if I make up my mind. But if I don’t come this Friday, I will not be a member of the Choir.” At last I chose Protestant Church and didn’t go to Catholic Church. In my inner heart, I know that we are brothers and sisters in both churches, worshiping the same God and admit Jesus Christ as our Savior.   

 

The next week in Community Church, I asked a priest, “How can I be baptized?” He told me that it was very serious to baptize, so people were required to attending Worships for at least one year in order to strengthen their faith. After that, people who had made up their mind could attend a catechism class. Baptism would be held after the catechism class.

 

I keep attending Sunday Worships regularly. Church has become part of my life. On Sundays especially in other cities, I would look for the churches there and attend. In the summer of 2006 I graduated from SJTU. And from September I would go on study in USTC.

 

When I was still in Shanghai, I searched in Internet for the location of Hefei Church. I got the answer that there used to be an old building in No. 74 of Suzhou Road. But it was in danger and was dismantled. A new building was under construction at the same place. On the second Sunday after arrived in Hefei, I went to that address, only to find the whole Suzhou Road was in repairing. I could neither find No. 74 nor the church. Then I came back and searched in Internet again. A web-page showed the detailed way to the temporary church: near the cross of Huaihe Rd. and Suzhou Rd. is a tall building named Gulou Shopping Mall; there is an alley to the east of the building; walking along the alley for about 30 meters, on the wall of a white building, there is a board with the title “Protestant Association of Hefei”; that’s the location of the temporary church.

 

The next Sunday morning, I telephoned the church to ask the time of Worship. Then I set out using the “road map”. Without much effort, I found the building. Actually only the second and third floor of the building is leased to the church. At that time, I heard a priest teaching through loudspeaker. So I quickly found a seat in an office-liked room, with many people listening there. But I didn’t see the priest. I thought maybe this preaching was transmitted from another place by radio waves.

 

The next time I went there, I climbed up to the third floor, and there was a big hall, with rows of seats. There had already been many peoples waiting for the Worship. The number of people is estimated to be more than one thousand every session, and there are three sessions every Sunday. The first one: 7:00--8:30a.m., the second one: 9:00--10:30a.m., and the third one: 1:00--3:30p.m. In summer, the time will change a bit.

There have been so many stories related to church ever since Feb. 19, 2006. I have experienced the religious festivals like Eastern and Christmas, and seen a marriage, Baptism and Holy Communion. I have met many people in the church, and communicated with them. Sometimes there were discrepancies and we could not persuade each other. I’m not an extremist. When arguing about Chinese culture and Christian, different sects of Christian, or different religions, I insist on the following three principles:

 

1.       A belief based on the tradition of the nation and culture;

2.       Pray for the unification of the Christian Church, including the Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church and Protestant Church. We all believe in one LORD and admit Jesus Christ as our Savior.

3.       Paying equal respect to those with different religions, like Jewish, Buddhism, Islam, Taoism, Hindu and etc. I will not rebuke other religions.

 

It seems that this article could come to an end. Thanks to God’s work, I have turned to a new page of my life. I’m really blessed by God during the year. Brothers and sisters, I’m writing this article to share you my own experience. The Lord is reliable, and His words are good teachings. I will pray for you, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

写在考完GRE之后

 

“你们祈求,就给你们;寻找,就寻见;叩门,就给你们开门。因为凡祈求的,就得着;寻找的,就寻见;叩门的,就给他开门。”

——马太福音7:7-8

 

       今天考完GRE,分数8个星期后揭晓。走出考场,我松了一口气。去年此时离开交大,心中怀着两个遗憾;而现在在科大,却有了出乎意料的惊喜。

       GRE是一个过程,是一个积累的过程。

       在科大翰海星云上有人说,如果词汇没有500分,那不是英语水平的问题——而是态度的问题。确实如此。

       准备GRE,很多精力是放在背红宝上的。这是一个过程,不要幻想接一根数据线可以在短时间内把8000多个新词存到脑子里。Glacy曾对我说,我们都是凡人。是凡人,就不要妄想轻而易举地得高分——真这样的话,那含金量也不会高到哪里去。“十七天搞定红宝”在理论上是可行的,我也稍稍验证了一下。但要知道,那十七天,是让人崩溃的十七天;而且一旦后续复习没有跟上,那这些工夫近乎白费。我就因为复习没跟上吃过很大的亏。

       感谢Matt,法号馒头的,你在我背单词初期给了我一句深深影响我的话:“没时间都是借口!”前几天看《曾国藩家书》,曾文正公“在军中不废学问,读书写字未甚间断”。他保持每天看20页书的习惯,凭着“有恒”,他读完了煌煌巨著,是“立德,立功,立言”的一代巨匠。

       GRE就是硬碰硬的,看谁投入的兵力多,这也让我感慨。也许长期受到“以少胜多”、“以柔克刚”、“四两拨千斤”这种思路误导,总想甩些小聪明——实际上,那样的结果会是眼高手低,变得浮躁。我想,以后的社会,就是一个火拼的社会,拼谁会投入。就像钱学森当年在美国,对于那位向他挑衅的人就很硬气地说,来,我们拼拼看!

       我特别喜欢《马太福音》里的那段话。如果我们自己都不敲,门怎么会开?

       感谢上帝,这么巧妙地安排了我和Hui的相遇。我为此祷告不息、感恩不尽!携子同行,一路走来,考GRE的岁月不再孤单,没有枯燥——而是充满了温馨和幸福。

现在考完了,但显然不是终结,而只是人生路上一个重要的节点。以后要走的路要闯的关,多着呢。就我个人而言,很想向读者们传递这样一个信息:准备GRE——值!至少可以很大程度上解决词汇量不足的困扰。

在年轻时,勤勉的人生是值得的,特别对男子汉而言。因为我们始祖亚当被逐出伊甸乐园的时候,上帝就要求男人:“你必终身劳苦,才能从地里得吃的。你必汗流满面才得糊口,直到你归了土,因为你是从土而出的。”(创3:17-19
